as you can see we are keepin our promis and update regularly ;-) we say thanx, tack and danke to everybody who supported and participated in the stockholm berlin event, we had two great party nights in two capitals. we had two great conferences with deep and good discussions, we mingeld 5 partycrews, two labels and 17 artists and we have a bookproject on the way. Great experience !

we also have news regarding artists and releases: jocob suske will be celebrating his release (andante ep. ) on aromamusic on the 8th of mai in berlin. this will also be the release date for his ep. the release party will be in the great LUX club in Berlin/ Kreuzberg, linup :

Jacob Suske, Pilocka Krach, Discopunk, DJs Christin und Ultraviolett und Ben Johnson.

Please forgive us that we are so lazy with the english versions. ;-( we ve been working really a lot on distribution and all the new releases we had and we are now finally able to provide constant new releases every month, so sometimes its too much work to do it all...but as you can see we are working and working so its getting better ;-)

here is a real big one and obviously a very nice new event that we can provide for you: its an international artist exchange between stockholm and berlin, which will take place in Berlin on 03/29/08 and in Stockholm on 04/11/08 with support from 6 Crews and the swedisch embassy in Berlin and the Goethe-Institut in Stockholm, please find all the necessary Informations here: >>>

After a great summer we returned to our headquarters in berlin with lots of new music, which you can see when you click on the releases button. Promise there will be more english content available, soon.
As said on the german page we discover more and more that life is political itself and even our lifestyle , working as a small independent label is political by itself, no other issues necessary. We want to use this plattform not only to serve "just music". As you might have discovered already we try to pick music which we think is close to our hearts. Its not about fashion or trends its about our deepest needs and if it complies with trends, fair enough, but no real issue for us. Talking so much about philosophy , we would like to tell you about the plattform www.avaaaz.org which means voice in some languages. Our major concern for telling you this is the situation in burma at this point.
Back to party we will have a nice release party in our homebase in Berlin on November 10th, if you wanna come its in Ritterstrasse, Berlin Kreuzberg starting at 23:00 hrs.

Being inspired by the netlabel conference we will also have a division as a netlabel, called aromamusic digital. You`re wellcome to send demos, for all our plattforms, if they are cool we promise more and faster updates. Fair deal !

As you can see everything is a bit more structured and faster accessible in the new version of the site. Sounds like we are getting older and more experienced , but thats good I guess. Thats why we have decided to invent a new division of aromamusic called delicious flavours, to make it easier for everybody what kind of music to expect and still be able to publish everything that we think is wild enough. So in the future if you see aromamusic releases you know that its DJ stuff for dancefloors, likewise when you see its deliciuous flavours, its wild, maybe loungy or even breaks, and its more electronica than house or techno.

Some releases are also in the pipeline, more information in the next update, please check also our new artist rooster, there is some new and interesting ones. We also have some new DJs on our list, for two reasons. One is that we like their music and good DJs are hard to find plus, not every DJ is also a producer...And the other is, that we have more and more requests for DJs which we will be able to handle with our extended list.

Another new invention that we are really glad to have is our booker, Matthias, ex-sagebooking and now head of the hell-blau artist network. He will take also care of the aromamusic artists, so don`t hesitate to contact him, he is sweet, cool and reliable.

We apologize that more content is not available in english at the moment, but since this update has already been delayed for ages we decided to put it online and come up with all the english stuff within the next month...so please come by again, you are welcome and we will try to be as quick as berlin alows it .
